I’ve not received any information about an open house for 2010. Perhaps it isn’t going on this year or perhaps they decided not to include me in their distribution list. Please note that this post is from 2009. I don’t want anyone showing up this year and there isn’t an event. Thank you.

The Brownsburg Motorsports Network is proud to announce the third annual Brownsburg Motorsports Open House taking place Saturday, May 23 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Many of Brownsburg’s racing businesses will be giving the public an inside view of the many aspects of racing.

During this free event, guests will have the opportunity to see parts distribution, manufacturing, machine shops, racing shop tours, team tractor trailers, race cars, drag bikes, graphics design, and an actual pit setup.  “We welcome you to come to Brownsburg to see the myriad of racing venues hosted here.” said Mike Green, coordinator of the event.  “If you like racing, you will love this free event.”

In addition to the shop tours, this year’s event will also include a Quarter Midget USAC Auto Club race, the Nostalgia Pro Comp Association Car Show, a Karting demo area with karting demonstrations, rentals and rides, Indy West Harley-Davidson display, a Mustang Display at Bill Estes Ford and tours of the Crag Indoor Rock Climbing facility.

Be sure to finish the evening at O’Reilly Raceway Park for the 64th Annual Night before the 500 USAC Midget Series Race.  Tickets are on sale at the O’Reilly Raceway Park box office or visit for more information.

  1. If anyone is going to the event from out of town, they should look into staying at the Wingate by Wyndham hotel on 71st street. It is the #3 hotel on TripAdvisor out of 177 Indianapolis hotels.
